Displaying FlexPay Offers
Setting up Black Horse FlexPay
You will have access to detailed integration guides to help you configure Black Horse FlexPay on your website. When this is done, we will provide you with an agreed rate card which outlines the different promotional offers. This will set out the combinations of rates and terms you can offer your customers, along with the relevant subsidy you would pay for each type of promotional offer.
Black Horse FlexPay must be visible as a payment option for any spend between £1 and £5,000. Any promotional instalment offers must be for a minimum spend of £100. There should always be an “always-on” instalment offer available for a minimum spend of £100. This offer will be at a specified rate in your rate card and there is no subsidy you need to pay for this.
Managing promotional offers
You can switch promotional offers on and off, whenever you like. However, once an offer has been switched on, it must be available on your site for a minimum of 7 days.
The promotional instalment plans will always be at a lower rate than the “always-on” plan.
Please note, changing offers or the minimum basket size, must be approved by your Account Manager.
Once an offer is switched on, you must choose the relevant marketing assets for your chosen offer from our pre-approved library of banners and content provided for you. The offer banners should be visible on your website while the promotion is switched on. This will help visibility of your offers to customers and promote usage of Black Horse FlexPay to help convert larger purchases. Make sure you remove the relevant offer banners from your website when you switch off a promotional offer.
You can monitor and track customer transactions via your merchant portal.
For transactions where a subsidy is payable, we’ll normally deduct this from the settlement amount. Or, if no payments are due to you, such as when there’s a refund or return, the debit amount rolls over and is deducted from the next credit settlement balance.
