Marketing Rules for Email copy

Email is a fantastic way to let your customers know you offer Black Horse FlexPay. We’ve provided an approved email template for you to use below, and you can also include the email banner assets provided in your communication.

Please do not amend any of the copy. However, there are a few specific sections that require your input, which are highlighted in

[red brackets].

We’re excited to share that Black Horse FlexPay is now available online at checkout, making it easier for you to buy now and spread the cost of your purchases.

FlexPay is a digital credit account that lets you buy now and spread the cost for purchases. An instalment plan is always available in your account when you are spending above £100 or you can pay using your flexible credit for purchases from £1 - all your purchases are consolidated into one monthly payment.

How it works

Step 1: Apply online

Select Black Horse FlexPay at checkout, complete the application and FlexPay will give you a decision straight away.

Step 2: Get your account and pay

If approved, you could get a credit limit of up to £5,000 to use instantly. You can pay using flexible credit at your standard interest rate or the monthly instalment plan and spread the cost at:

You can now use your credit account to manage your monthly payments, and to shop online with retailers that offer FlexPay.

Who can apply

You need to be over 18, a UK resident and have a valid bank account, mobile number and email address to apply for FlexPay. Credit is subject to status.

For all email communications containing a banner or information about Black Horse FlexPay, you must make the appropriate disclosures regarding your credit broking activities, as well as information about Black Horse, a trading style of MBNA Limited.

Please refer to our communications guide on how to ensure you have the correct disclosures.
Please include the following wording in the footer of all emails promoting Black Horse FlexPay, plus your own disclosures:
